How the generator picks its building blocks
Every template here follows the same skeleton: hook → value → ask. We've broken each section into a small library of variants tested on real outreach. You pick the variant that matches your situation; the generator interpolates your inputs.
Opener — earn the second line
The first line is read; the second one isn't guaranteed. Each opener variant is a different way to signal specificity. The wrong move is the one we don't offer — "I hope this finds you well".
Value — one specific thing
Each value-prop variant focuses on a single outcome: time, revenue, risk, or quality. Pick the one your audience actually cares about; resist the urge to claim all four.
CTA — match the temperature
A calendar link on a cold open feels presumptuous; a one-word reply on a warm lead feels lazy. The generator pairs the CTA shape to the cold-outreach context — soft question and one-word reply are the default winners.

Frequently asked
Is this an AI generator?
No — and that's intentional. This tool assembles a template from proven cold-email patterns deterministically, so you get a clean structure without needing a signup or burning AI credits. For per-prospect AI personalisation (the AI writes a different email for each recipient using your campaign brief), create a free ProspectFlow account and use the campaign wizard.
Why do the templates use {{first_name}} and {{company}}?
Those are ProspectFlow's per-recipient placeholders — they're substituted with the real first name and company at send time. Paste the generated template into the platform's templates page and the variables expand automatically. If you're using a different sender, replace them with whatever merge-tag syntax your tool uses.
What makes a good cold email opener?
Specificity. A line that could only have been written to this recipient (a reference to their post, their launch, a mutual contact) signals 'this is real outreach', not 'mass blast'. The generator's 5 opener types each have a different specificity strategy — pick the one you can actually back up with a real detail, not the one that sounds clever.
Which CTA gets the most replies?
The Soft Question CTA wins almost every test for cold opens — it asks for a low-cost reply with no calendar commitment. Resource Share is also strong if you have something genuinely useful to send. Calendar slots should only be used on warm leads — they're high-friction and feel presumptuous in a cold context.
How long should a cold email be?
120 words or fewer. The generator caps the assembled output well below this — most generated emails are 60–90 words. Anything longer and you've over-explained; if the recipient is interested, they'll reply asking for more. If they're not, more text won't change that.
Can I save the template?
Two ways: (1) click 'Copy share link' — the URL captures every input, so you can bookmark or share it; (2) sign up for ProspectFlow free, paste into the templates page, and the template is saved with your campaigns.
